Sometimes a postcard series is connected to another larger project that I am working on, as it has been with the postcards that are a part of my still, not still project. At other times, the postcards are a project on their own … something that I find myself working on over a long span of time, as one aspect of my practice, like with the everyday poetics series. And there are times when I just feel compelled to work on a postcard response piece or to create a small piece on the fly.
