said this way was written from words found and photographed while out text walking from our apartment in the Beltline in Calgary, Alberta to Studio Bell (the National Music Centre) and back home again.

I’ve been thinking about letter poems ever since I wrote the text walking poem truly back in 2022, which I later (in 2024) worked into a folded text walking letter piece. My hope was that this letter piece might become the start of a series — letters that would get written and sent in the mail or passed from hand to hand. Finally this month, another text walking poem made its way into a letter piece.
