One of the photographs I took, when I was on that text walk, was of the public art installation Delta Garden + The City Unseen (created by Caitlind r.c. Brown & Wayne Garrett). That photograph includes the word ‘hum’, which ended up being the title of this poem so I’ve used a detail of this photo, as the thumbnail image on the text walking menu page.
